Each tester video that has been through AI analysis carries its own set of insights, and you can export just that video's insights to an Excel workbook without leaving the video. The file holds every insight drawn from that one session, the exact quotes behind each insight, and a link that opens the video at the moment each quote was spoken.
This is the file to send when one session stands on its own: a particularly revealing usability run you want a designer to work through, a set of quotes for a stakeholder deck, or a record of one participant's feedback for your own notes. Because every quote row links back to its timestamp, whoever opens the file can jump straight to the moment rather than scrubbing through the video.
All plans include basic AI features, and Subscription and Enterprise plans add advanced AI features and customizations, so AI video insights may not be available on your account.
How to export one video's insights
Open the video analysis page for a tester's video. You can reach it by clicking a video response in your survey results, or by clicking a video quote on your test's AI Insights page.
Scroll to the Insights from this video section below the video player.
Click Export at the right end of that section's heading.
The workbook downloads on its own. A short message confirms that the download is starting.
What is in the workbook
Overview sheet
Names the tester, the survey and question the video answers, when the video was recorded and submitted, and a link back to the video analysis page. It also summarizes the analysis run behind the insights: the run date, how many insights came from this video, and the mix of positive and negative sentiment.
Insights sheet
Lists one banner row per insight, followed by the quotes that support it. Each quote row carries the tester, a timestamp, the quote itself, and a link that opens the video at that exact moment. Where other testers voiced the same insight, their quotes appear as extra rows marked "Other tester", so you can see how widely the point was shared.
Things to know
The Export button only appears when AI insights exist for that video. If the analysis has not run yet, the whole Insights from this video section stays hidden.
The export reflects the same analysis run you are looking at on the page.
Quotes from other testers link to their own videos where those are available, so you can jump straight to another participant's version of the same feedback.
Files are named after the tester and the export date, for example "AI Insights - Jordan S (2026-07-27).xlsx".
This export covers one video. To export every insight across the whole test, use the Export button on the test's AI Insights page instead.
