User Experience Test: How to design a UX Test

Updated over a year ago

UX Testing

Use this article to quickly design a UX test and get feedback about your product.

Creating a UX Test

  1. Setup your Test Title and Instructions to explain to testers what the test is about - for example, "UX Test - First Impressions of Strategy Game"

2. Add any relevant instructions and links to your product with specific instructions about what testers should do to get familiar with your product.

3. Choose the timing and incentives you want. You can give testers more time to complete your test by adding 1 day or 2 days to your test timing but setting the time required to match how long it will take to complete your instructions. This should also take into account the time required to complete your survey.

4. You can choose your recruitment criteria and screening questions like you normally would on any test.

5. In the Surveys section, create your survey by dragging relevant questions to your survey builder, or use our Standard UX Survey and customize it as you wish for your product:

When you launch your test, your survey will be sent to anyone who applied to your test and passed your screening questions.

After Launch

After your test launches, you will get survey results that you can review, filter and segment, and export.
