Prototype Feedback: How to design a prototype test

Updated over a year ago

Prototype Testing

Use this article to quickly design a prototype test and get feedback about early versions of your app - whether its a wireframe, a clickable prototype, or even just high-fidelity designs.

Creating a Prototype Test

  1. Choose Product Usage + Survey as your Test Type when you create a new test

  2. Setup your Test Title and Instructions to explain to testers what the test is about - for example, "Prototype Test - Onboarding Flow for Parents".

  3. Add any relevant instructions, such as links to your prototype or instructions you want testers to follow.

3. Choose the timing and incentives you want. This should take into account the time required to complete your survey and go through your prototype.

4. You can choose your recruitment criteria and screening questions like you normally would on any test.

5. In the Surveys section, create your survey by dragging relevant questions to your survey builder.

When you launch your test, your survey will be sent to anyone who applied to your test and passed your screening questions.

After Launch

After your test launches, you will get survey results that you can review, filter and segment, and export.
