How do invites work and when will I get my first invite?
We send invites when we have tests matching your profile (devices, location, interests, etc.). Invitations are sent in batches, prioritizing testers with a history of high-quality feedback. This means it may take time to receive your first invite or get consistent opportunities.
How can I get more test invites?
We cannot promise you will get more invites to participate in projects, but we can assure you that if you take our recommendations below you’ll increase the likelihood of being invited more:
Fully complete your basic profile and expanded profile surveys. This will help us learn more about you and invite you to more tests that might be best suited for you.
Apply to participate in tests when you're invited. Of course only participate in tests that interest you, but if you never respond to invite emails, you'll be less likely to continue to get invites in the future.
When you do get accepted to a test, complete all required tasks and provide high quality feedback so that you are highly rated as a tester.
Feedback quality:
Survey-based feedback, bug reports, video-based feedback are just a few of the criteria used to calculate tester ratings, learn here How we Measure Quality Tester Participation.
Make sure you provide high-quality survey-based feedback by communicating clearly and thoroughly your thoughts, use examples to illustrate your points, and provide suggestions when appropriate.
When submitting bugs, include videos, detailed explanations of the steps needed to produce the bug, and all relevant information. For video-based feedback, match the required video duration specified on the instructions, record audio and thoroughly present your thoughts, do not skip any of the steps, and be mindful of the video quality.
Complete projects that you do accept
If you miss deadlines or otherwise provide poor quality results, this will impact your tester rating negatively
If you can't or don't want to complete a test after accepting it, be sure to Opt Out promptly. If you opt out within the timeframe provided, you will not be penalized for not completing the test. Learn more here How can I opt-out of a test?
On time submissions is one of the criteria used to calculate tester ratings which greatly impacts the likelihood of getting invited to tests. Each test has a pre-defined end time, make sure you submit surveys prior to that, and in case you face issues doing that, reach out to the test organizer via our integrated messaging system seeking help.
