For most tests, we will invite a few more testers than your target goal, to account for some testers not completing the test. In some instances, such as very targeted demographic requirements or strict screening questions, you may get less testers than your target.

If you get less testers than your target, your test will still run as normal but you will only be charged incentives for those who completed testing. You can try running the test again with broader invite criteria.

If you get more testers, you get to keep the feedback from the extra testers, but you will be charged for the incentive payments required. Please keep that in mind when choosing the number of testers and incentives for your test - it may end up being 5-10% higher than the exact numbers selected.

For example, if you want 50 people to complete your test and the incentive is set at $10, we may onboard 55 to 60 people to try to reach your target goal. If 55 people complete testing, your actual incentive cost will be $550 instead of $500.
