For our beta tests, testers can submit bugs / issues they encounter during the test process. They can do this manually on the BetaTesting platform, or directly from their app through our easy integration with Instabug for iOS apps.

Our integration with Instabug makes it easier for testers to submit bugs directly in your app, and allows us to pull in much more contextual information about the device and actions that led to the bug. We associate each bug submission with the BetaTesting tester that submitted it, so we can track each testers engagement and reward contributions.

Within the Bugs section of an active test:

  • Review bug submissions
  • Review contextual information about the tester's device etc, in case of Instabug submissions
  • Review attachments, if any
  • Message testers to follow up with questions / instructions regarding their bug submission
  • Export bug reports to a spreadsheet CSV to import into any other bug management program. You can also import directly into JIRA by going to the Settings tab and following the steps under "Setup Jira Integration".
